At Jenan School of Dance we strive to create happy, friendly learning environment and hope each student will gain a love of dance. Students have the opportunity to excel in exams as we have had excellent results or just dance for the pleasure, enjoyment and fitness of dance.
The Jenan School of Dance has been an important part of the cultural life of the Hunters Hill municipality for over 40 years.

Below is general information.

Registration Days:
Registration days for 2012 for new and returning students are held at the Hunters Hill Masonic Hall between 2.00 pm and 5.00 pm on the following days:

For returning students: Monday 30th and Tuesday 31st January and Friday 3rd February
For new students: Tuesday 31st January and Friday 3rd February

Term Dates:
Term dates are in accordance with NSW Public School Terms.
Royal Academy of Dance examinations will occur from October to December of each year. For 2012 the Term Dates are:

Term 1: Monday 6th February - Thursday 5th April
Term 2: Monday 23rd April - Friday 29th July
Term 3: Monday 16h July - Friday 21st September
Term 4: Monday 8th October - Friday 7th December

Examinations:
Children who enter ballet for examination are required to take two classes each week. Examinations are November/December.

Open Days:
Parents and friends are invited to watch the lessons and demonstrations on our Open Days, the last lesson of Term 2 and Term 3.

Performances:
Our annual concert is a much anticipated event and one we look forward to at the end of each year. It is an opportunity for our students to display their fine work and bring delight to their family, friends and the community. Our students also dance at a number of community events during the year.
This year the annual concert is on Saturday 1st December 2012 and the Dress Rehearsal is on the 24th November 2012.
